luxurious racing cars,aston martin

From the PBS series Great Cars. James Bond made them famous. His bullet proof Aston Martin outfitted with oil slicks, retractable Browning 30 caliber machine guns, laser tire slashers, an ejection seat, missile launcher and more was a "must-have" dream car for boys around the world. When Sean Connery did in his foes -- everyone wanted to be that debonair, worldly man who could afford and handle anything but chose to drive an Aston.

No one would have predicted that tractor manufacturer David Brown could transform a bankrupt Aston into a car line that was universally praised as being, "pleasing to the eye, beautifully finished and comfortable with all the performance anyone could want." His cars became racing legends -- challenging Ferraris on the track in the 1950's and ferrying the upper crust around town. Today, Aston Martin has been revived by Ford Motor Company and is once again a world beating yet refined sports car.
